These super easy Vegan Black Bean Burgers are ready to eat in less than 30 minutes. These burgers are oil-free, and of course Vegan, they can also be made gluten-free! What’s great is that they also don’t require anything complicated to make. Simply add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend, for the perfect vegan patty mix. Tired of store bought bland veggie patties? Than try these ones instead, they won’t disappoint!
I have been working on this recipe for some time now, trying to create something a little bit different but one that will satisfy that immense burger craving that I get at least once a month. I am tired of boring store bought veggie burgers that taste like cardboard as well as processed and sodium rich take out versions. So, I wanted to create something that incorporated healthful, nutritious ingredients that even meat eaters couldn’t turn away. Are you still with me? How to Make Vegan Black Bean Burgers:
These burgers could not be simpler to make. All of the ingredients are added to a food processor until the desired texture is achieved. Take this mixture and form it into 4 good sized patties around 3/4 inch thick. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 16-18 minutes until slightly browned on each side. Assemble your burger on your favorite bun with some amazing toppings and dig in!

Vegan Black Bean Burgers

Ingredients
1 3/4 cup Black Beans
1/4 cup ground Raw Walnuts
2 small cooked Beets
1/4 cup Panko Bread Crumbs
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp Hickory BBQ Sauce
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
Salt and Pepper to Taste
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Add walnuts to a food processor, pulse until they resemble the size of small pebbles, add remaining ingredients and blend until a thick mixture has formed.
- Using your hands create 4 patties about the size of your palm and 3/4 inch thick. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 16-18 minutes flipping half way.
- Once lightly browned on each side remove from the oven. Assemble burgers on your favorite bun with all your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
