Best Vegan Apple Crumble

This is the Best Vegan Apple Crumble! Loaded with warm cinnamon apples underneath a perfectly crunchy oat topping.

Ingredients
  

Filling:

  • 4 ea Large Apples Granny Smith or apple of choice
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Gluten-free All Purpose Flour or regular flour
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Cane Sugar
  • 1 dash Nutmeg

Topping:

  • 1 1/4 cup Rolled Oats
  • 3/4 cup Gluten-free All Purpose Flour or regular flour
  • 1/4 cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp Melted Coconut Oil

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Peel, core and slice apples into thin slices. Place apples in a large mixing bowl and toss with lemon juice, flour, sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour into a non-stick pan or lightly greased 9x9 baking dish, and spread out the mixture evenly.
  • In the same mixing bowl begin making the topping by mixing together everything but the oil. Once well combined, add melted coconut oil and mix well until pea- sized crumbles are formed. If too dry add more oil.
  • Top the apple mixture evenly with the crumble. Sprinkle on some addition brown sugar (optional) and extra melted coconut oil (to help brown). Bake in the oven for 45 minutes or until apples are bumbling and the topping is golden brown.
  • Let cool for 15 minutes and top with Vegan Vanilla Ice Cream and a dash on Cinnamon for flare!
